Shell one-liner

Gets a safe shell command for a task, explained piece by piece.

Write a {{SHELL: bash / zsh / PowerShell}} command for {{OS: macOS / Linux / Windows}} that: {{TASK}}.

- Explain each part of the command.
- If it deletes, overwrites or moves files, first give a dry-run version that only prints what would happen.
- Note differences between GNU and BSD/macOS tools if they matter.
- If a short script is clearer than a one-liner, give the script instead.
